AFLAC
AFLAC coverages are supplements to insurance, not major medical coverage. It is designed to pay you directly, so you can do with it as you choose. Pay a deductible, seek additional treatment, supplement your income while you are off, you have the freedom to decide how you spend the money AFLAC gives you.
AFLAC will not raise your rate. Once you are locked into a policy and age, you are locked in. If AFLAC comes out with a new product or option, you will have the opportunity to upgrade at the current rates for your age band.
